This role includes researching manufacturing methods, new technologies and applications in manufacturing and automation. Furthermore, work tasks could include: mapping production process, idea generation, conceptualisation, data collection, technical documentation, technical designing, technology provider search, technology ecosystem mapping, participate in manufacturing company visits, etc.
This program requires flexibility, innovative approaches and determination. Depending on the assignment, the program may be combined with an In-Company Period, PRO-course or Bachelor/Master thesis. The exact objective can be defined based on your background and interests.
You are a university Master/Bachelor student. Your field of study is industrial engineering, business administration with technical understanding, automation technology, process engineering with focus on business administration or other scientific study which allow a broad understanding of both technical and economic problems. Further requirements are:
Basic knowledge in manufacturing processes and production systems and operations management
Excellent results at university
Experience in project work desired (e.g. via previous internships, student research projects)
High innovative skill set, thinking outside the box
High level of written and spoken English
Communication, analytical, learning and team-work skills
