Create an entrepreneurial youth with robots

In collaboration with Erasmus Plus we are inviting you to an inspirational workshop to hear more on how educational robotics can progress entrepreneurial learning among pupils of all ages.
Join us for a review and discussion about the entrepreneurial introductory project about utilising robots to create an entrepreneurial youth. Licensed under the Erasmus Plus Program, we will be sharing the learnings made in the strategic partnership project where we have been working with the VEX robot in pupils development of entrepreneurial competencies. We title the informal lecture: "Robotics and logic games as the key for youth to the entrepreneurship and success in the labour market".


Optimize entrepreneurial learning
The main objective of the innovation project has been to develop a modern and effective model for teaching/promoting the pro-entrepreneurial attitudes among young
pupils. To achieve this the european partners in the project have in collaboration elaborated an innovative solution based on their rich experience in working with the youth.
We would like to share with you the danish contribution, where the focus has been on the correlation between entrepreneurship, logical games, robotics, and how the technological approach will influence the attitudes of young people, increase their interest in fields of study and level of commitment.

VEX and Erasmus Plus
The VEX robot has during the Erasmus Plus strategic partnership project been utilized to enable creative thinking among pupils from an early age. The VEX was designed to follow a route and collect elements in its path to solve project learning cases. This was done by utilizing different sensors in the VEX robot, like for color recognition, distance measure and collision avoidance. The Erasmus Plus project was designed with the main purpose of combining the old board game "New York 1901" and robotics in entrepreneurial teaching, where the main topic is strategic thinking. While playing the robotic edition of the old board game, pupils where to learn to recognize the long term consequences of strategic decision making. Thus, the VEX robot has been utilized as a learning tool to understand game players minimum viable product, features optimization, opportunities, product strengths and weaknesses so that the most advantageous strategic approach can be made.
Beside teachings enabled about entrepreneurship, the pupils would also achieve a basic knowledge about programming and coding.
